Description:
The new Ranch Community of Rancho Mission Viejo is comprised of approximately 17,000 acres of permanent open space to be preserved as The Reserve at Rancho Mission Viejo as well as approximately 6,000 acres to be developed over time into multiple mixed-use and inter-generational residential villages. Over the next decades, up to 14,000 homes (including 6,000 homes for active adults) will be constructed and new roads, schools, parks, recreational facilities, retail and commercial business centers. These villages on The Ranch are designed with regard to both individual land form and a set of rigorous planning principles.
Our Role:
Moote has been retained by our client, the master developer, to assist with the day to day construction management. Our construction manager is acting as the Owner’s Representative managing the contractors in the field, coordinating construction schedules and ultimately doing what it takes to meet the business plan to deliver blue top lots to merchant builders. Whether its working directly with the civil and soils engineer resolving design and field conflicts, or proactively working alongside the contractors, our service is vital to ensure the project remains on budget and on time. Once the lots are delivered, Moote plays a vital role working with the merchant builders to confirm all work is being carried out and performed to the standards and protocol outlined by The Ranch.
